Walker. Renzo Ferrari

Taking us into the heart of the paintings of Swiss Italian artist Renzo Ferrari, Walker is no standard biographical film but rather a quest to discover the painter’s personality through association, with objects, images, sculptures… The painter himself is always shown on the move, since he divides his time between his birthplace Cadro (Ticino), Milan and New York. Over the course of his long city walks, he constantly observes the world around him, jotting down notes and making sketches in his notebooks; he draws everywhere, on the train, on a bridge, leaning over a barrier… even standing, from an urgent need to retain all he sees.
