This is an anthropological film about Thai labors in Taiwan. Therefore, the film does not use the traditional way to treat migrant workers as one of the social issues: instead, it uses directly anthropological approaches to attach individual and collective memories of self-growth history, from childhood trivia, supernatural beliefs, and folk mythology to diaspora experiences in Taiwan at this moment. The exact location of Wuwuwang N. St. is not important. The street locates only a bridge away from Taipei city, but for citizens of Taipei city, this is a long distance.
