Thomas Imbach is one of the most formally innovative filmmakers of Switzerland. Well knowing the experimental films, he develops the film language on every film together with Jürg Hassler, his camerman and editor. WELL DONE visits the office world of a high tech company showing the small gestures, the talking and the eye communication between the clerks. GHETTO writes the current state of teenagers in the richer suburbs of Zurich. HAPPINESS IS A WARM GUN follows the death of the green peace activist Petra Kelly and her partner and general Gert Bastian, and the story in the film starts shortly after their death. Imbach has finished this year his new film LENZ which is currently showing in the swiss theatres.
