Beginning with her own poignant family history, the film’s director traces our relationship to death and suicide, probing into universal issues concerning our responsibility for our own life. Prompted by the fate of her siblings, both of whom took their lives, the filmmaker explores the scope of action for relatives who attempt for years to appeal to their loved ones with concern and affection. To what extent can they influence the lives of those who are dear to them? Are the limits set much closer than they presumed?
