Born in 1946 in Kaltbrunn. 1967-68 Studied art history and modern languages at the Sorbonne in Paris. 1971-72 Studied art history and modern languages in London. 1978-79 Studied the history of Indian women at the Women's University in Bombay. 1982-83 Attended the School of Visual Arts in New York. Since 1980 has worked as a freelance in the culture department of the SF DRS (German Swiss Broadcasting Service) and 3sat. She has directed several programmes and reports.
