Once Upon A Time in America
Sergio Leone
After more than 30 years in hiding, David “Noodles” Aaronson returns to New York City for a reception held by the mysterious Senator Bailey. As he wanders through the streets of what used to be his town, he recalls his origins as a small-time hoodlum on the Lower East Side, a Jewish ghetto in the 1920s, his then associates and their rise in the world of organized crime. Memories also come flooding back of the violence of the prohibition years, the murders committed and the uneasy friendship with Max that ended in death and mystery.
