On the day of Jo “Seppi” Siffert’s funeral in 1971, 50,000 people converged in the streets of his hometown, Fribourg. Even today he is still considered to be one of the ten best racing drivers of all times. The film traces Jo Siffert’s career as he went from rags to riches in the frenetic world of racing. A gripping homage to an unforgettable Swiss sport legend.

Born in 1968 in Chur. Education as typesetter. Worked as a journalist for newspapers in the Grisons and for cultural events in Chur. 1989-92 Created layouts for Tages-Anzeiger and NIZZA, work as graphic designer. 1993-98 Attended HGKZ (Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Zurich) Film and Video Department. 1999 Awarded study prize from Swiss Federal Office of Home Affairs and the canton of the Grisons. Since 2000 works as a film technician and director.
