A film of love stories by writer Robert Walser upon the 50th anniversary of his death. Two actors, music and animation connect the 7 short stories, whilst the original text is read verbatim by international actor Bruno Ganz. An experiment: after the book and audio book – a “visual book”.
Walo Deuber
Born in 1947 in Freiburg. Studied in Zurich and Berlin. 1976 Obtained Doctorate in Zurich. Until 1981 journalist for various Swiss newspapers and edited for Limmat-Verlag in Zurich. Since 1980 author and director of films for cinema and television. Writes screenplays for feature films. 1992-1995 Editor-in-chief of the program “Close-up”. Teaches Drama at the HGKL (Hochschule für Gestaltung+Kunst Luzern). Visiting professor for Literature and Film at the CSULB (California State University Long Beach).
